I have to maintain some discipline about my weight since I am a swimmer. So I can't exactly pig out and consume large quantities of fast food, chocolate & ice-cream. However, I wouldn't say that I suffer from an ED. I see a nutritionist who weighs me and gives me advice on how to eat healthy and balance my diet. Starving yourself or purging as an athlete/performer is not a good idea and not worth it. It only works in the short term, in the long run it puts a strain on the body and one becomes too weak to perform. There is a finalize between eating discipline and an ED, unfortunately too many girls my age step over that line... the photoshopped beauty image and the fact that trainers are pushing for a perfect image doesn't really help either...
